McAMS joins Pata Yamaha with BRIXX WorldSBK as an official partner for 2021

Pata Yamaha with BRIXX WorldSBK is excited to announce a new partnership with leading motorcycle accident management company McAMS for the 2021 season.

McAMS is well known for the highly successful title sponsorship of the McAMS Yamaha Racing team in the Bennetts British Superbike championship. This new primary partnership with the official Yamaha WorldSBK team will be in addition to that - further strengthening McAMS’ support of the Yamaha family.

The partnership between McAMS and Yamaha Motor UK is long-running and hugely successful – the vast majority of the large McAMS hire fleet of motorcycles and scooters are Yamahas.

The McAMS name will be added to the 2021 Pata Yamaha World Superbike YZF-R1s of both new rider Andrea Locatelli and teammate Toprak Razgatlioglu who is about to start his second year with the team.

McAMS Sales Director Valentina Slater said:

“We’re excited to further our support for Yamaha and sponsor the World Superbike team in addition to the existing BSB deal we have recently extended. Bringing the McAMS name to an even wider audience is an important part of our drive to make people aware of what we do to assist riders and dealers who can benefit from our services.”

Pata Yamaha Team Principal Paul Denning added:

“McAMS is well known to all BSB fans, and especially Yamaha ones, thanks to the McAMS Yamaha title partnership with Raceways and Yamaha UK. Our Crescent Yamaha dealerships have heard only good things regarding McAMS’ customer service and the benefits of its accident management services. In the unfortunate case of a Crescent customer suffering an accident at the hands of a third party, we strongly recommend they contact McAMS for their expert support and full claims handling services.

“As a British team representing Yamaha as its Official WorldSBK squad, we are delighted to welcome McAMS on board and to put the McAMS identity firmly in the fight for World Championship race wins and podiums alongside our BSB colleagues. We hope to be able to welcome McAMS clients to races as the season goes on and to ensure that McAMS is firmly in the hearts and minds of UK race fans as we fight for the WorldSBK title!”

How McAMS works

If you’ve been involved in a non-fault accident the McAMS call centre is ready to take your call and run through your options. McAMS are committed to helping clients and aims to provide a hire motorcycle or scooter within 24 hours of a non-fault accident.

McAMS will always use a customer's local motorcycle dealer to handle repairs, storage and recovery following any non-fault accident. This ensures on-going support to the motorcycle industry in the area and delivers a quick repair or renewal of the motorcyclists’ bike.

There are up to 40 McAMS drivers working hard to deliver and collect the hire fleet with up to 20 vans out on the road every day. These vans can deliver up to 50 hire motorcycles or scooters each day, seven days a week.
