James Hillier joins the Crescent Yamaha's GYTR Pro Shop

Road racing star James Hillier has joined Crescent Yamaha’s Verwood, Dorset, dealership to support its GYTR Pro Shop division. With vast racing experience, including the full build and specification of his own race machines over many seasons, James adds significant depth to the Crescent Yamaha team and looks forward to working with customers – both racers and track-day enthusiasts – to ensure that their bike and equipment is best suited to their performance level, experience and budget. James will also be working with Crescent’s customers on their bike set-up and riding technique on special coaching days.

Still a highly competitive active racer under the “Rich Energy OMG Racing” banner, James is extending his portfolio into Rally as he prepares to compete in the 2022 Dakar event. This incredible challenge sits alongside James's road race plans for 2022 which include the Isle Of Man TT, where he will compete in the Superbike events and on an R6 Yamaha in the Supersport class. James is one of the fastest ever riders around the infamous TT course, at a mind-bending average speed of just under 133mph, and has achieved 14 podiums and 1 outright victory from his 56 TT race finishes.   

James will be developing his role with Crescent Yamaha around his racing commitments, with a view to a full-time role in the future.
